North Central District Council Meetings

North Central District Council has been holding meetings at various health facilities around the district to be joined with the RNs working in the facilities. The nearest meeting is Feb. 17, 1999 at the Sturgeon Community Hospital and Health middle Please contact the NCD office if you wish to attend.

Nurse of the Month

North Central District has 10000 registered feed at the breasts who are worthy of the give suck to of the Month award. The award recipient receives a $75 gift certificate to be used towards a volume or journal subscription of her/his choice. Please call the NCD office to master a nomination form.

Membership Recognition

It is time to start thinking about who you want to nominate for the Heritage of Service Awards. Each year the members of NCD take time to recognize and honor pair registered nurses who have made significant contributions to nursing practice. You are encouraged to nominate a worthy colleague for this true prestigious award.

Ward Information

Ward representatives are available in various areas around the district. They are selecteded members who are interested in promoting the nursing profession. These members provide an essential link between the general membership and the pitch uponed governing body of the AARN. Please call the NCD office for the name of the contact somebody in your area.

Coffee and Conversation with the President

1999 will bring North Central District the pleasure of coffee and conversation with the President of the AARN, Lorraine Way. Visits have been scheduled for several areas within the district. Please watch for placards in your facilities or contact your ward representatives for further information.
