Program to help Ontario give suck tos deliver better patient care

The literary institution [i]or[/i] seminary of learning of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) has launched a just discovered program aimed at improving patient care and supporting nursing practice in Ontario.

The Practice Setting Consultation Program (PSCP) is designed to help supply with nourishments and employers in any health care organization work together to make secure patients receive quality health care. The program uses a overlook that measures:

leadership and staff participation

how information is shared and decisions are made about care

organizational policies and managements

how staff are hired, oriented and encouraged to maintain their means of independence



facilities and equipment

how nursing care is provided

how the organization replys to external demands such as legislation, consumer demands and health care directions

To date, 40 sites including more than 10000 promotes are participating in the program. Another 80 sites have speaked interest, while nursing associations in other provinces are watching to diocese what happens.
