Continuing competence is not just continuing education. It is a quality assurance proces of reviewing your confess practice through self assessment and discussion with your colleagues, and developing and implementing a learning plan to address your extremitys and build on your forces It will become a proces that the encourage will use throughout his or her career to maintain sufficient fortune a process of lifelong learning. This means that each nurse, regardless of the part or setting in which she or he works, will have to fulfill the program requirements. Since principally nurses have been maintaining their adequateness through a similar, although informal proces it will not be a difficult transition. Formal documentation of what we, as nurtures have been doing will add somewhat to the requirements, if it be not that the Continuing Competence Steering Committee is working onward your behalf to keep the program as simple as possible.
